Pooko and Joy
(Note: Pooko is from episode 132 of Sailor Moon, Joy Yoshito is FireballKoopa's OC)

Sometimes you survived it.
It wasn't the matter of being the biggest and strongest Remless around. Or the craftiest and smartest one around. Really unless you were a person so much stronger than Sailor Moon then a Remless wasn't going to survive her Pegasus fueled attack. But some had amazingly, a few had limbed back to the Dark Moon Circus tent, practically half dead but still alive. And each one had said there was no escaping it through sheer brute power, speed, or wits. You just started preying and thinking of everyone you knew and then 'wham!' So it seemed the only way for a common Remless to survive the onslaught of raw, glittery power was if the caster were distracted, weak, their emotional, mental, or physical  state was even slightly compromised it gave a tiny window of hope  for survival. That's what the one or two Remless said that had survived, Pooko-chan had paid them a visit.
They also said you tended to just stand there, drop whatever you're doing, and take it.
She had gulped quite loudly after leaving for she had a feeling she would be next in the lottery. After a few hours she started to act a little more like herself, trying not to let the bad times get to her. Pooko had returned to her quarters in the Dark Moon Circus tent, ever hovering over Tokyo and tried to reassure herself that perhaps her name wouldn't be pulled from the draft.
They also said your initial thoughts were surprise at being alive, and regret at how much of a mess you were.
One night she had gone out dancing with some friends at the Dark Moon Circus' sole bar. It was very large and often her boss, Tigerseye, and the other two managers, tended to have drinks there in a VIP section. She didn't care about that she had dressed informally and began to 'get down' as humans tended to say. It took her a while to realize that the group around her were stopping their dancing, it wasn't until Tigerseye was just before did she stop. She was surprised and bowed politely in greeting and dreaded what he was to say. He was quite handsome though he dressed strangely. Quietly, almost tenderly, he gave her a date and time she was to be on stand-by to help back him up in their mission. Sure she could have said 'yes' and then attempted to flee, or refused and faced serious punishment that wouldn't have killed her, or faked her own death, and yet when she said yes she meant it with all her heart, pledging to her leader.
Thus Pooko became aware that something cold was pressing against her cheek, cold and hard, and that it was running down her entire right side. She had time to at least open her eyes, revealing beautiful purple ones, ones that were usually much brighter and more vivid but in that moment they were significantly dulled. The reason was that nearly all of her life energy was gone and the pain began to rack down her body her fingers began to clench tightly, her toeless feet shook slightly and she closed her eyes and tried to fight back either a scream or a groan she didn't know which exactly. She knew she was still in the park though where her pain had began.
Tigerseye had named the date and time it wasn't going to be a long wait. The party was pretty much over so Pooko went around to her friends and told them she was confident and would be alright. Though the more logical ones, like her dear cousin Gum-Mario, told her of the chances of surviving, she just smiled and said she'd just have to be careful. She also made a call to the rest of her family, balloon Remless that weren't in the Dark Moon Circus, that she was taking a dangerous job, there had been some tears. She spent the rest of the day in her apartment, on standby. wearing a simple gown she could throw off and begin using her power. She was very nervous but tried to carry on with her day as normal as possible, reading a book, cleaning up, going over her check book, when suddenly his shadow appeared on her wall with an eye on it and he heard her summoning her. Thus she willingly threw off the gown, naked aside from a pair of red bikini-shorts for modesty, despite the fact she had no 'lady bits' and swelled herself out from a feminine humanoid shape into that of a giant bloated balloon-woman. Her expanding side began to poke into the shadow, appearing on the ground in a park on Earth, bigger she got until she was complete and then promptly floating out into the warm air. She forced her extroverted personality out, spun around with a smile on her face and exclaimed "Pooko-chan!" to two confused Sailor Scout, one a young girl with pink hair, the other older and with long blonde hair, they could have been sisters.
Through sheer will to want to live, strangely fueled by how much pain she was in, rather than wishing for death it made Pooko all the more willing to continue her life. The balloon remless, at about 21 or 22, had had a life realization just a little too late and was so sure it was the end. She also wished she had taken her farewells a little more seriously and so with this desire to live she opened her eyes again and began a slow crawl through the park. There was no one around, evidentially Sailor Moon's attack wasn't enough to completely scatter her life energy away, just enough had survived to reassemble her body into a weakened state. It was dark and starting to rain and the battle was coming back to Pooko.
She had smothered the little girl, commented on her not being pretty, Sailor Moon was actually trying to pull her bigger body off the girl. Pooko had tried to go after the target, a woman called Saori, that caught her attention and she, she had a weakness for handsome men. In a bit of grand un-professionalism she zipped through the air and aimed to go to that handsome man pinned to the wall, intending to give a big hug...even though he didn't look too pleased with that. Only for Sailor Moon to jump between the two, shocking both of them. She struggled to push the balloon remless back, the man protested. It was there Pooko was torn on the one hand she was moved by Sailor Moon, who was always described as being a cold monster, protecting the man, being smothered and suffocated by Pooko's huge latex body. Pooko was moved to tears and wanted to move and yet she was conflicted, she said what she planned to do, ordered to kill both of them and yet she debated longer, losing herself and trying to decide. Only she realized too late that Sailor Moon had stopped struggling, and then the enraged man grabbed a knife that was pinning him and stabbed her in the side, her other weakness. She zipped around until her deflation was complete, she was a tad embarrassed, nearly naked after all and normal, but still at a fork in the road. She spotted a role of tape and a bike pump, and for some crazy reason she took a strip of tape and applied it over the hole in her side, it would heal over time, she had deflated the hard way and couldn't suck in air so she promptly used the bike pump and began to re-inflate herself as though ready to fight again.
A nasty mistake. She could have ran, retreated without shame, surrendered but all she did was imply she wanted to fight more and Pooko wasn't sure which it was she wanted.
Then the pink haired girl, Chibi Moon, rang a bell it summoned Pegasus their real target, Sailor Moon flashed a wand and Pooko had the same feeling that the other monsters had gone through. She froze, her foot stopped pumping, her face slightly distended out, she was paralyzed as dazzling lights flew at her and she cried out the common prayer that was recited among Dark Moon Circus Remless' 'Stage Out!' before feeling herself getting blown apart, leaving a shadow of her outline only for that to fade too
Only for it to reappear hours later along with Pooko. Only her life energy had returned, thus her shorts were long gone, the strip of tape also, leaving a hole and returning her face to normal. Naked she crawled forward several feet for what must have been hours. She was able to at least make it to one of the paths before unconsciousness finally won a long hard fight and she slumped down on the path.

"Bleh," groaned  Joy Yoshito as she stepped onto the front steps of her school. It was starting to rain and it was such a wonderful day when she went in too! Life really couldn't be fair at times for she hadn't packed an umbrella but only a light jacket. Joy had stayed after to work on a project by herself so none of her friends who had the luxury of being able to drive were around. With a sigh she pulled her jacket over her head, covering her blue hair that reached all the way down her back and began to run, splashing puddles as she went.
Considering she was a sixteen year old who could transform into a blueberry she should have liked the rain more.
A short time later she was dashing her hand in the air and calling for a bus to stop it didn't, either the driver didn't see her or was a jerk. Life really couldn't be fair at times. The normally quiet young lady released a cry of frustration and was happy no one was around the bus stop to hear it they were all the lucky ones who were able to get on the bus.
"Poo..." she muttered and looked around, she considered delaying her walk home by finding a coffee shop or some place to hunker down and wait a bit. But she realized she was short on cash at the moment and spotted the park, it was a good one and the trees would provide some cover. Re-adjusting her jacket to attempt to keep her head dry she quickly darted into the park and ran across the cobble steps. She ran quite a ways, seeing nothing but green leaves, brown bark of the trees, and the pathway ahead of her. That was until something blue and red jumped in her vision, she had been in the park many times and those colors didn't usually pop up there.
Joy stopped on her heels and turned back and went up another path. It was a blob of not just blue and red but purple as well, she approached it and realized that it was in the shape of a person a woman!
"Uh...excuse me..." she said, hesitate, wondering if it was in fact a giant doll or a camera prank. The figure was so well sprawled out, her arm reaching out, she was laying on her side the way her neck was tilted showed desperation and-
-there was a hole in the woman's side too. Upon seeing that Joy moved in, ignoring the shock of realizing that the woman was in fact naked. She knelt down by the figure and studied the hole, she relaxed a little when she saw there was no blood, nothing but darkness in the slit. She relaxed a little upon noticing the woman had no nipples, among other things.
Joy chuckled, "just a costume, someone dropped-"
As if on cue the 'costume's' lips parted and a cough bubbled out, some water had ran into her open mouth.
Joy leapt back with her arms in the air and a yelp, the figure was real! She paused for a moment and nervously said again, "E-excuse me..."
The woman did not move or made another sound, Joy realized that she was hurt and sprang into action. Due to having the blue virus she couldn't be cut or hurt by most things so she had no medical strips...she had tape but that would only worsen the oddly garbed woman's wound once they tried to replace it. Joy gently took Pooko's shoulder and shook it, "Hey." she said hoping to rouse her. No response, she quickly put her ear to the woman's mouth and touched her wrists. There was no pulse, not surprising since it was a costume or so Joy thought, but there was a faint breathe.
By some instinct, and for all it was an unwise medical move, but Joy worked to move Pooko, at least out of the rain. Much to her surprise in spite of the stranger being taller than her she learned she could easily move her. Thus Joy got the thought to lift Pooko-chan into her arms, before that at least slipping her jackets over the form, and began to carry her home to help her.
It was quite a walk and it seemed as though no one else was on the street. Joy was too focused in getting help for this stranger, albeit waving down someone or using her phone to call an ambulance would have been more helpful. If Joy had stumbled across anyone else in Pooko's state her well intended actions would have caused further harm. But before she knew it Joy was unlocking the door to her home and stepped in, turning the light on.
She was torn on the fact her parents were away on the trip, on the one hand they would have swooped down and taken care of the matter her job done but on the other hand a strange urge to help this person in need on her own interested her. Quickly she put Pooko down on the sofa, and began to drape towels over the form, drying her off and not caring about her own cold or shivering self.
After a few moments of drying off Pooko, Joy rolled her eyes at her own foolishness: she had to get the woman out of her outrageous costume. She began to hope that the wearer was wearing something underneath it and began to look for a zipper, buttons or velcro, after several moments she began to wonder how anyone could get into such a costume. She noted the bit on Pooko's head, where her hair was divided into two seconds, the part where her nozzle stuck out, perhaps there was a seam there that pulled the costume out into sections. Joy lifted Pooko's head and began to pull, she started to grunt while the costume stretched in her hands, distorting the face of the wearer.
"Geez..." muttered joy while tugging as hard as she could on Pooko's cheeks not realizing that...
"Uuuh...." the woman said causing Joy to jump back a second time with a yelp. It was finally dawning on Joy that the woman was not wearing a costume...it was her very skin! Joy stared at the figure laying on her couch, partially covered by the towels, and then the shy and quiet young woman began to blush bright crimson and covered her mouth.
"Oh my goodness she's naked!" she squeaked out and averted her eyes away. Her hesitation passed but not the embarrassment she quickly went to her parents room to find some clothing for her 'guest.' When she returned she remembered the hole in Pooko's side. She wished she knew where her head was and went to the first aid kit, took out a large bandage and played it over the wound. She checked Pooko's breathing and it was slightly stronger. Quickly, and blushingly, she dressed Pooko in some PJs and grabbed several blankets and pillows tucking the odd woman into the sofa.
And thus Joy began to make dinner while constantly checking up on Pooko and waited.

It was lucky Joy didn't have class the next day. The entire time she stayed in the large apartment she was constantly checking on the strange woman. She carried on eating, studying, and turned down an invitation to hang out with friends, not giving a reason why aside from needing to study. Though through out the day she noticed Pooko's breathing was becoming stronger and she started to feel some relief. She did somewhat berate herself on the way she handled Pooko but she did at least add that she wasn't sure if the doctors could do any better than she for she clearly wasn't quite a human being and they most likely would have charged a lot for so little.
After making dinner, Joy was making numerous dishes rather than left overs, she really wasn't sure what kind of food her guest would like, if she ate anything at all. The young lady was washing dishes so she couldn't see Pooko's red eye lids beginning to flutter just slightly before finally, slowly, opening.
This was the second time Pooko had regained consciousness since her defeat at the hands of Sailor Moon and right away it was a much more pleasant sensation compared to last time. Along her back was a firm but comfortable surface, nicer than the cold stones from yesterday. She also realized she was covered in something, soft, and it was keeping her warm. Her fingers brushed her side she felt not only that she was dressed, thankful, but also tape or a bandage on her side, also very thankful, an improvement to being nude and cut. Pooko opened her eyes and wherever she was her savior was kind enough to dim the lights thus not blinding her sensitive eyes.
The remless looked around, it sure didn't look like she was in a prison but a home. She could hear someone else in the place but she wasn't eager to get their attention, she attempted to sit up, didn't get very far and realized how weak she was and decided she would rest as long as she could. Though she was wary of whoever had put her there, she suspected it was a human and not a fellow remless, she was grateful that she wasn't cold anymore and would wait and see.
A few minutes later Joy went over to Pooko and put a hand on her forehead, ever checking to make sure a fever wasn't developing.
There was no fever but Pooko partially opened her eyes and said "hi." She was a little surprised to see that her possible savior was a young woman, one around the same age as Sailor Moon.
"Oh!" Joy said and took her hand away, "you're awake."
"At least..." Pooko said weakly, "I'm pretty sure this isn't remless heaven."
"No you're alive," Joy said ad remembered something, "are you thirsty or hungry?"
"I..." Pooko did not need food to survive but it could help fuel extra energy. On the one hand she wasn't entirely sure that human was trust worth and yet when she looked into the girl's eyes there was something very honest about them so she said, "please."
Joy made a dish of simple food and brought it over, she also assisted Pooko in getting her upright to eat. Pooko had at least strength enough to feed herself, the food actually tasted quite good and she was thankful for the water despite being doused in it the night before.
"I hope my..,human food is alright. Are you human?" Joy asked, sitting in the chair nearby.
Pooko munched quietly a moment and answered, "Your human food is very welcoming and...no I'm not human."
"Oh wow are you an alien?" Joy leaned closer in her seat, her eyes were not quite aglow but they seemed ready to blaze out in wonder at Pooko's response.
"I..." she was partially glad she hadn't used the word 'monster' "I suppose you could say that, we are called the Remless."
"Oh wow!" Joy clamped her hands together and stars appeared in her eyes. "This is amazing! I never had an alien in my home before and one so beautiful too!" she stopped and blushed "I'm sorry that was inappropriate."
But Pooko, beginning to feel more like her old self, found her young savior enduring and was flattered. She smiled, "No, don't be little one, this is the first time I've ever had a human as adorable as you rescue me."
Joy blushed more, "th-thank you."
Pooko's smile, tired as she was, brightened a little more. She remembered being somewhat like her when she was her age. "Little one do you have a name?"
"Oh right!" Joy was eager to change the subject, "my name is Joy Yoshito." She stood up and bowed very low and formally.
Pooko, thinking of how many startling different cultures there were on Earth replied, "I am Pooko...just Pooko" she leaned forward slightly attempting to mimic a bow, "I'm sorry I can't really return the bow right now."
"That's the least of your worries," Joy rose and gently began to push Pooko back down, she had finished eating, "You need your rest Pooko-chan."
"Yes you're right," she replied and felt better as Joy recovered her with the blankets.
"Um.." Joy said, "should I call a doctor? There's a hole in your side and I put a bandage over it."
"Thanks, don't worry about it. With a little time it'll heal and that really helped so thanks." Pooko put her head down and right away she went back to sleep.
Joy smiled and made sure the light was dimmed enough she was happy to help and relieved that Pooko was going to be okay. Pooko seemed quite nice and as she retired to her room and began to do homework she started to wonder and then worry about Pooko. Joy thought of how she first got the berry virus, her skin turned blue and since she did not have the experience she started to swell up. It was so embarrassing and too many people saw her like that before she desperately finally forced herself back to normal though the blue skin remained. She was labeled a freak and quite despaired by it. Until she met some students who hardly cared about her being different. From there Joy gained some much needed confidence, she controlled her powers and even better learned she could change the color of her skin to a peach color, right back to her original skin tone! It was hard being labeled a freak and as Pooko slept Joy started to worry if she had a place to go back to and if she didn't then the older woman would also have a hard time adjusting to human life.
But she would be there for her if she needed her and Joy went to bed feeling much at ease, she would be Pooko's friend in need.

The next morning Joy broke up bright and early she tip-toed through the the apartment, careful not to wake up Pooko. In the kitchen she started to make breakfast, enough for the two of them.
Just as Joy was placing eggs and bacon on her plate she heard Pooko yawning behind, she turned around, she was standing there and stretching her body out, still clad in pjs. She wondered how the remless had snuck up on her so well, then she remembered how light she had been in her arms two days ago, no wonder that creak in the floor hadn't warned her.
She smiled, "Good morning, Pooko-chan care for some breakfast?"
Pooko put her arms behind her and linked the fingers, stretched again, "morning Joy. Oh did I sleep like the dead. I would love some breakfast."
Joy happily fixed Pooko a plate who had to ask, "Joy, do you have any ketchup?"
"Ketchup? Sure," she took the bottle out and gave it Pooko, "what for?"
"Eggs," she promptly squirted some onto her plate, soaking into the eggs.
"Oh yuck!" declared Joy.
Pooko's eye brows raised up, "What?"
"People shouldn't put ketchup on their eggs!"
"Really? I've heard some humans do it...besides..." to Joy's disgust Pooko scooped some up and ate them, "I like ketchup on eggs. We don't have ketchup where I came from. Among many other culinary things."
"Really? What about ice cream?" she began to butter a bran muffin, her favorite food of all time.
"What's ice cream?"
"Oh my you never had ice cream? I'll have to take you out sometime and get you some. It's wonderful."
The two ate and chatted for a bit when the meal was nearly over Pooko dabbed at her mouth with a napkin and said, "Um, Joy-chan I have a question a very important one."
"I'm listening," she put her fork down and looked straight at Pooko.
"I..." Pooko was having trouble with the words, "I do have a place to go to...but I don't want to go back to it now."
"Okay," Joy nodded, "can I ask why?"
Pooko remembered what she thought would be her final moments, her face slightly puffed out, those beautiful but deadly glowing lights, her realization that the Circus was not for her after all. Despite the happy memories, friends, there was..."a change of morality I should say. I can't go back and quit is all I can say."
"I won't push you..." Joy said and instead of waiting for Pooko to say anything said, "If you need a place to stay I'll gladly let you stay here."
The remless' eyes widen, "Truly? You would let a stranger stay with you?"
"A stranger? You're my friend now, I wouldn't shove anyone that was hurt as you out into the street!"
Pooko was floored and tried to remain calm, "Really? Already?"
"Of course, don't you think of me as a friend?"
"Y..yes of course." she did, she smiled at her new friend. "Soon as I feel well enough to leave I think I'll start to repay you."
"Should you even be up?" Joy asked.
"I think I'm fine, I need to get up and walk every once in a while." Pooko rose and stretched again, "But I better remain resting for a while longer. Kindly she refused Joy's offer to help walk her over but she at least let her tuck her back in
"So...now what?" Pooko asked as Joy re-took the chair near her, "don't you have class today?"
"Yes but I called in sick."
"What?" Pooko sat up right, "Oh Joy you shouldn't do that!"
"But you need someone to take care of you."
Pooko let herself smile, she was not very good with being strict, she couldn't kid her nature, "I think I could manage for a few hours. Young lady it's important you take your studies seriously though."
"I am but isn't taking care of your friends important? Besides there aren't any tests today."
"True, but only if your friend really needs your help..but..." she sighed and shrugged. "What's done is done."
Joy moved her chair closer, eagerness etched all over her face, "I was wondering could you tell me about your people and home?"
Pooko chuckled, "Well I'm not really a story teller, I'm more one of those girls who likes to bounce around so if I tell you it might not be the best presentation."
"That's fine, I'll gobble it up...please."
"Very well," so she began, "where I come from doesn't really have a name, I hail from another dimension and the only way to cross is through space. I hail from the north of the planet where there's a lot of wind. I have a big brother, mother, father, and a cousin and..."
So she told Joy about her family, leaving out the balloon bit for though it was her power she didn't make much of it, even to a human who seemingly had no special powers aside from the potential to have great creativity and an unbelievable ability to overcome so many odds. Pooko told Joy about her home, the seasons, which apparently two of them were strikingly similar to the Earth's bright hot summer, and snowy winter. Joy was not afraid to ask questions, either starting a new branch or seeking clarification. Sometimes they stopped so that Joy could fetch Pooko something to eat or drink but Pooko was delighted to have someone talk. To see someone so young enchanted by her home, personality, her very being.
For Pooko, the hours she had been resting, had been like a poison in her mind. As much as the Circus had done it's damnest to make every remless under their employment hate humans she, and she was not the only one, but even though Sailor Moon was labeled as their public enemy #1 she had only half hearted resolved herself to combat. As she chatted with Joy about so many things of her culture, from culinary to plants, the remless, and Joy, learned they weren't so different. In fact apparently a number of the common holiday dishes were similar to those of earth as well.
Speaking about her home and people, and hearing a stranger eating up every drop of it, as well as learning similarities, it taught both that they weren't so different and it was therapeutic for Pooko the poison was beginning to seep out. She remembered trying to remember the Japanese culture and realized that the Earth was just as diverse as her place was with so many different types of remless.
And as much pain as she had been through she had to admit that Sailor Moon was justified in defending herself and her lover.
Hours later Joy was eagerly sitting much closer to Pooko-chan, her elbows resting on the foot of the couch, near Pooko's feet and they were discussing the one thing Pooko knew for sure Joy would be enthralled with: high school.
"An artist...really?" Joy asked.
Pooko-chan nodded, "Oh yes! I loved drawing and painting and I wanted to go on to art school."
"And did you?"
"No I got a job else where, though I met lots of good people," the Dark Moon Circus, she felt a bang of pain that there was the chance she wouldn't see a lot of dear friends again...Tenko or Ponko...She hid it very well and kept smiling. "But who knows maybe now I'm here I could give it another go."
"Could you draw something now?"
"Um...later dear. I'm very rusty and I need to be at my all to do something so dexterous."
"That makes sense did you ever change schools?"
"I did, it's hard isn't it. My family moved south and there weren't a lot of..." she started to say 'balloon' but stopped and said, "remless like me so I was a bit of an outcast."
"Wow even back home?"
"Indeed and it was pretty scary."
Joy thought again of how it had been when she got the blue virus. And yet here was an adult woman who endured and seemed very happy, though sad about something else. "How did you endure, Pooko-chan?"
"Why with two excellent friends of course, silly. Tenko and Ponko we made a very odd, and silly trio."
"You too?" Joy bolted upright, "the same thing happened to me! I was considered weird and if not for two great friends, Lynelle and April. I started to feel normal again or else...well life would be a lot harder."
Pooko nodded to the younger girl, so much like her, maybe a little more quiet and reserved, certainly more polite than she had ever been, yet so very similar. "Joy-chan, little sister I have never had, may I ask you why people find you so different?"
"I..." she began, for she had been called sister. She decided that it was okay to tell Pooko for she had saved her life and could not possibly tease her for it. "Okay...wait a moment..." she said and retreated to her room. Pooko waited, wondering what it was before Joy came back out wearing a blue, white, and green striped horizontal jump suit, her feet and hands were bare.
Joy took a deep breathe and said, "Well, Pooko-chan...I am a berry girl."
She paused, Pooko nodded, saying only, "Go on."
Joy felt a little better, she didn't laugh or find it silly, "And this is my true color..." she stopped concentrating and let her skin go from peach to a blue, Pooko didn't seem too surprised either.
She did say, "Oh dear, that's a lovely hue for you, Joy. It matches your hair very nicely."
"Thank you," her blush was no longer red but purple, much like a part of Pooko's if she ever saw her blush. So she began to tell Pooko about the life changing event of gaining the blue virus, how it changed for the worse for a while only to cause it arc back up in magnificence. All the while Pooko listened and never interrupted and when Joy had finished asked, "Can you..." she grinned, "really transform into a blueberry?"
Joy grinned back, "you really want to see me like that?"
"Yep..." Pooko said and pulled back the covers and got into a sitting position.
"Kay," Joy said and explained she spread her hands out, "Observe, right now I'm at five percent of berry juice this is normal for me."
"Uh-huh.."
Pooko stared at the younger woman and waited a few second later she noticed that her chest and stomach were curving out and growing bigger she found another smile spreading her face and realized that young Joy was enjoying her transformation. Another similarity, it seemed that Joy too found her bigger and rounder shape to be something of a 'cut loose' thing.
After a few more moments Joy was quite pleasingly plump and large chested her smile broadened. "Here I am at 20 percent, my figure is for the worse...although I quite like this." She brought a finger up to her stomach, her suit no worse for the ware, and poked her stomach. The juice inside jiggled and sloshed.
"You look adorable!" Pooko declared, "and that's only 20 percent?"
"Yep...gotta...ways to go..." she let herself swell more until her entire torso was round and her suit was still stretching out, her arms were spread out to the side too. Pooko giggled and rose up, poking her new friend in the stomach, listening as the young girl jiggled and gurgled.
"And you're at..."
"Forty percent, thighs are starting to go..." Pooko had kept her finger pressing into the girl's stomach it started to get pushed out as the girl swelled up more and more. Joy's blue hair crowned the top of her berry belly as she got bigger and her legs and arms began to absorb into her belly. Not just that but her breasts too, the dips between them were disappearing and Joy's cheeks started to fill. "60 percent."
"Hm-hm.." Pooko folded her arms and watched in interest as her 'little sister' grew on, she was getting taller too and soon they were eye to eye purple ones meeting darker ones. "Did they really mock you for this?"
"Yes almost mercilessly," Joy sighed.
"Savages." Pooko muttered.
"Oh forget them," Joy said as her cheeks puffed out and her head sank in, her arms nearly absorbed and her head joining them. "Nearly at my max, 80 percent."
"Only twenty to go!"
Juice filling her up Joy continued to swell, she laughed when her belly button popped out, a large lump poked out of her suit. Pooko had jumped and then laughed as the berry girl got taller and bigger, her chest absorbing in, with each movement she jiggled, sloshed, blueberry juice inside of her sloshing and shaking and she was unable to move. Didn't matter she was way too comfy and happy to care! A few minutes later she reached 100 percent as a big ball of a blue in a striped jump suit.
"And...here I am..." she giggled and even that made her jiggle and slosh.
Pooko laughed with her, "Joy you have been completely honest with me so I must do the same to you. Care to know why I had a little difficulty fitting in my new school?"
Joy stopped, she leveled herself, blue cheeks squeaking against what was her collar and said, "Only if you're willing, Pooko-chan."
"Hmmm," Pooko said and put a finger to her chin, she turned away and took a few steps back. When there was enough room she turned and sucked in air, gulping it down like it was water after a draught. "Pooooooo..." she began, not having to say the words but eager to act.
"What are...oh!" Joy said and stopped when Pooko's own chest began to grow out, taking it several cups larger. Joy was surprised as Pooko stopped, playfully poise like a super model before taking another long intake of air, shaping out her hips and then inflating her belly out. The younger woman realized she shouldn't have been so surprised, the nozzle, the latex like skin, the stretch, yep she could be dense at times.
With Pooko's second in take of breathe her pjs were starting to stretch, none of the buttons straining, her stomach puffed out, making her no longer thin but chubby...always very cute. The balloon remless stopped sucking in air and rubbed her hands against her stomach, through the fabric of the pajama top her skin squeaked between her fingers. At Joy's encouragement she sucked in more air, causing her hips to start to disappear, her head sinking in, and the buttom buttons of her top starting to strain and then popped off.
Joy should have said something but she didn't she was too enthralled to see her big sister, in a moment of mutual trust, inflating up with her, but differently with air. Against her body, the pajamas squeaked and protested, the buttons gradually popped off one by one, revealing more shiny and springy flesh until all were gone, showing off Pooko's top half.
She blushed slightly her cheeks puffing out and sinking into her neck, the bottoms were stretching and starting to tear but at see Joy's eyes, filled with wonder again, she opened her mouth and sucked in more air freely. The button for the bottoms popped off but the waistband survived as her sides surged out and stretched at her legs, the shoulders of the top ripped and her blue or red skin bulged and shined. More squeaking and then ripping before the crotch of her pajama bottomed ripped and slid down her legs and onto the floor.
The young balloon woman's pajama top followed in several pieces, leaving her naked and bare. Only thing was she had nothing to hide, still blushing she sucked in more and more air as her globe body quickly dwarfed that of the berry girl's. Ever in awe she watched as Pooko grew bigger than her, her shadow falling over Joy who watched Pookos arms and legs get pulled in, no breasts to speak of either. Then her head, sucked in and her face spread out, her nose became a slight stub.
But those same kind and joyful eyes shined and those purple lips became as smile as she looked down at her 'little sister' and she began to float up, much to Joy's further joy and amusement until the naked balloon remless hovered over the berry girl and planted a kiss to the top of her hair.
"Pooko-chan," she said and giggled slightly.
"That's...that's amazing..." Joy whispered and gazed at Pooko. The balloon remless floated around a bit, her body rubbing against the ceiling and made noises. "I wish I can fly..."
Pooko bit her lip a moment and said, "Maybe...just maybe you can be like me."
"Huh?" Blinked Joy.
Pooko stopped floating and held her spot in the air, "We balloon remless, we...well...can reproduce similarly to how humans can do it. However we can also create a shine of rubber skin that can go over another's body and make them kind of like us."
"R-really!?" Breathed out Joy, "well get started already!"
Pooko held a hand out, stop, "hold it little one, no promises here. I've never done it with a human, even if you were a remless there is a really really tiny chance of it working. And with your blue virus I haven't the faintest if that evens or lessens the chances..."
Joy stared back up at Pooko, very quickly, impossibly so, she juiced herself, like magic all the juice faded away leaving a small peach colored teenage girl. "Pooko-cha, sister, please, give it a go at least."
"Are you sure, this could be permanent."
"Please." was all Joy replied.
So Pooko closed her eyes and concentrated after several minutes she opened her eyes and squeezed her body her upper half puffed up further and without a sound a red balloon began to emerge from her nozzle. Without breathing it swelled out further every few seconds before it finished emerging and began to float towards Joy. Her eyes were wide and she reached out to touch it but the red balloon zipped past her hand and launched into her face. The young woman gave a cry as the balloon smothered against her face and stuck there, only for Joy to realize that she could still breathe. The balloon then started to fuse and practically melt over her face. It casted over her face and covered her head and hair with a shinny red shine then dripped down her neck and trailed further, formed underneath her clothing. She looked at her hands and watched as they become covered in the latex-like flesh then at her feet as her toes were covered.
Pooko watched as the berry girl looked up at her and became a balloon girl, a light yellow strip formed down the front of Joy's face, clearly running down the front and back of her body, and finally a nozzle popped out of the top of Joy's hair.
"I guess we're really sisters now," Pooko chuckled.
"How do I look?" Quickly Joy went over to a full body mirror and admired herself, "great I'd say."
"You look wonderful!"
She turned back to her floating sister, "Let me try something..." she concentrated and Pooko thought she was inflating but instead her skin stopped looking like rubber and like magic her nozzle disappeared and she went back to being a peach girl...then a blue berry. "Wow! I can still be a berry when I want to!"
"Amazing!" Pooko exclaimed, "I guess that virus helped open up a lot of new doors."
"Many great doors you mean." she said and then she let her body become a balloon girl again. Pooko continued to watch as her fellow balloon person began to suck in air, she gave instructions to the newbie, was patient, and finally after many tries Joy inflated herself up, her suit stretching and sticking to her body. Before she knew it she was joining Pooko-chan in the air, a smaller balloon, but she was still a growing girl. They joined, Pooko took her sister's hand and giggled.
"Well, it's a success!"
"Oh this is like magic!" declared Joy, she wrapped her stubby arms out as far as she could and hugged her sister, squeaking all the while, "thank you! Thank you so much Pooko-chan!"
Pooko smiled and thought, here she had a second chance at life. Perhaps Sailor Moon nearly killing her, as morbid as it sounded, was good luck or she survived because there was reason. Here she had perhaps made a start towards redeeming her actions from only a few days ago, helping a young woman accept herself and making her...as well as herself more comfortable and confident with themselves.
Pooko embraced her sister back, "little one perhaps I will draw something for you...I'll just have to not poke myself." She had told the truth to her new friend, her new little sister, and in time she would express all about why she was in the park that cold day. After all sisters should not hide the most important secrets.

The end.
Sorry it's not more of "Another Visit" but I felt like trying something new with an art trade!

Does this make me a sell-out now? I dunno but I think it's fun to try to work with another's character and FireballKoopa hasn't complained so I must have done something right, can't wait to see his half of the deal.

Pooko is from episode 132 of Sailor Moon
Joy Yoshito is FireballKoompa ([link]) OC, seen here...

Update: Welp. Fireballkoopa hasn't finished my half of the arttrade in almost a year and a half. I worked hard to get this done as fast as possible for him. I think I'll just have to be way choosier about who I do art trades with, assuming I do them again.
